The new Logitech G333 VR Gaming Earphones and the Logitech G PRO Gaming Headset for Oculus Quest 2. I had made a short jack cable, feels just as official.Logitech G, a brand of Logitech, and leading innovator of gaming technologies and gear, today announced new Oculus Ready immersive audio solutions for Oculus Quest 2 gamers. Same for a lot of other games, and because it's a slider, you can adjust per game. For music listening it's way too much, but let's say you playing Pistol Whip, and slide it too extra-oomph, man that enhances the whole game. And I absolutely love the bass slider for vr. Even though for me it's not the most comfortable, I do like the notch in the top of the strap that goes over the Quest strap. I think I still prefer the skullcandy (last gen, not latest gen) Crusher. It's there, but don't expect nice deep sub bass. After adjusting the headset not a problem anymore, but still something to notice. Otherwise a lot of bass and quality is lost. If you have a elite strap, the cushions must be under the side straps. You can still use the Quest microphone, but it is a weird desicion from logitech. The short cable is the problem, the connector only has ground/l/r The supplied Microphone doesn't work with Quest. Comes with USB connector (only pc) thing, which gives the best sound. (You'll notice a lot more sounds in your games.)Ĭan also be used on pc. A lot of extra high/mid range compared to the standard Quest pipe speakers. You get two cables with the headset, one for quest and one for pc.įlat-ish sound profile. Other than the absence of a shorter cord, is there any other fundamental difference? I can’t see any myself. I know there’s the G333 earbuds as well, but I’ve never been a fan of earbuds…Īny input and thoughts here are greatly appreciated!!ĮDIT: I’ve also noticed a non-oculus specific Logitech G Pro headset, normally the same price, but $30 cheaper currently. I also have the Oculus elite strap, so thoughts if you use those 2 together also help me. The bass seemed soft though, but that could’ve been an EQ setting for the Pro X the store had set.įor those with the Logitech G Pro, what are your thoughts on the sound and comfort? Is the bass punchy enough? I play a wide range of games from FPS to Fitness to Zen. The sound was good and they felt much more comfortable than the Beats I have. I tried to sample a set at my local big box electronics store, but they were the G Pro X so not sure if I was getting a true representation of the Quest specific ones. Most reviews and user opinion is that they’re pretty good and comfortable. The one that keeps jumping out is the Oculus designed Logitech G Pro. But I’m at a point where I find them a little too tight and I’m exploring the option of an over-ear headset I will dedicate to my Quest. So, I’m in a small house where my wife doesn’t enjoy listening to the sounds blaring out of my OQ2, so I normally strap on my Beats Solo 3’s with a short AUX cord.
